Position Highlights
Responsibilities
The Urohospitalist will provide timely evaluation and treatment of patients requiring urgent or inpatient urologic care. Responsibilities may include emergency department consultations, inpatient consultations, surgical intervention when appropriate, coordination of patient care, discharge planning, and arranging outpatient follow-up when necessary.
The physician will also work collaboratively with medical staff and hospital leadership to develop efficient clinical pathways and protocols for common acute urologic conditions.
