- Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist to join our growing neuroscience team as a Neurohospitalist.
- This hospital-based position offers the opportunity to focus on the evaluation and management of patients with acute neurologic conditions while working collaboratively with hospitalists, emergency medicine physicians, intensivists, neurosurgeons, advanced practice providers, and other specialists.

Position Highlights
- Hospital-based practice focused primarily on inpatient neurological care
- Evaluate and manage neurological consultations from the Emergency Department, hospitalist service, ICU, and other inpatient specialties
- Manage a broad spectrum of acute neurological conditions, including stroke, seizures, altered mental status, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, headaches, and other neurological emergencies
- Participate in the evaluation and treatment of acute stroke patients, including thrombolytic therapy and coordination with interventional/neurosurgical services when appropriate
- Collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, Neurosurgery, Radiology, Rehabilitation, and other specialties

Responsibilities
The Neurohospitalist will provide timely neurological evaluation and treatment for hospitalized and emergency department patients requiring neurological consultation.
Responsibilities include managing acute neurological conditions, coordinating diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, communicating with patients and families, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and coordinating appropriate outpatient follow-up following discharge.
The Neurohospitalist may also participate in stroke protocols, quality initiatives, clinical pathway development, and other efforts designed to improve neurological care throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will be:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of practice
- Eligible for hospital medical staff privileges
- Comfortable managing a broad range of acute neurological conditions
- Stroke experience strongly preferred
- Committed to high-quality, patient-centered and collaborative care
