Practice Details

  • Providing direct patient care while at the clinic and hospital, performing necessary procedures, and administering/ordering diagnostic studies as indicated by the standards of patient care.
  • Referring patients for services that cannot be performed at the clinic. 
  • Confers with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and patient’s families concerning treatment and care of patients.
  • Refers those cases which require specialist services, but maintains responsibility for those cases to assure that continuity of care is provided.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of a regularly updated quality assurance plan as directed by the Medical Director.
  • Participates in the Health Promotion/Disease Prevention activities required by the U.S. Public Health Service.
