What you need to know:

Practice Details

  • Pediatricians will diagnose and treat pediatric diseases and injuries in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.

  • Our work in the inpatient setting includes both newborns and pediatric patients. 

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients
  • performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

  • assessing patient status relative to hospital admissions and discharges

  • prescribing medications and treatments

  • attending C-sections

  • consulting with colleagues on patient management and treatment plans

  • In partnership with our Pediatric Hospitalists, our pediatricians participate in inpatient call which covers the emergency department, the nursery, and the level II special care nursery. Weekend call is divided into Friday evening/Sunday or Saturday and pediatric nurse phone triage is available on nights and weekends. This position is .8 FTE or 32 hours per week/4 days per week.

  • This position will provide you with the opportunity to join a collegial team of 12 pediatricians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers operating a busy practice in a physician-led, financially stable organization, committed to both high quality patient care and patient satisfaction. 
  • Must have M.D., D.O. or foreign degree equivalent. Must be eligible for Wisconsin medical license and must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics, or in final year of ACGME accredited program leading to certification.
  • Pediatric board certified or board eligible M.D., D.O., or foreign degree equivalency candidates will have, or have the ability to obtain, the following required licenses and certifications:
  • a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Wisconsin
  • DEA license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
